OK, stripes are my addiction!

Everybody who recognizes my design style knows that stripes are my addiction. My office (at Displayit ), my home office, my bathroom and my blog; everything has a stripe on it.
Stripes are so IN right now, that you will find decorative accessories in almost every store.
They make me so happy, that I want them everywhere, it is crazy ha!
Well, see it for yourself.

If you want a room with dimension and personality,  adding stripes is the perfect solution!

Last but not least, my little fashionista and her striped sweater.
Doesn't she look cute?

Beautiful Mexico

Mexico City, one of the biggest cities in the world and the city that I grew up in. I lived there for almost 25 years and feel blessed that I had the opportunity to be born is such an amazing city. The people, food and traditions makes Mexico a perfectly balance mix of culture. It's colorful, filled with textures and really noise that sometimes is overwhelming.
Palacio de Bellas Artes, Centro Histórico.

Lately Mexico has been in the spotlight thanks to the design forward hotels, restaurants and boutiques. Every "Colonia" (neighborhood) has its own flair and history, Condesa, Roma, Polanco are now one of the trendiest areas as well as the touristy Centro Histórico, just south of the busy Zona Rosa. Filled with new restaurants and bars these areas feel surprisingly like Europe but with the unmistakable Mexican flavor.

MEXICAN STYLE: A Spanish influence, as well as the use of natural materials, rich-hued colors and textures. Minimally-furnished interiors blend handcrafted antiques with contemporary art and furniture, creating a perfect elegance with a captivating mix of old and new.

Here are some of the coolest Hotels right now and their contemporary mixed of Mexican Design.
