Our 4nniversary

I can't believe how time flies! Last month we celebrated our fourth anniversary!! Four amazing years of great experiences and tons of love. We have moved three times to different cities ( Mexico to OC to LA), we've met amazing new people and been enjoying life to the fullest.

This post is to share with you some of our best memories from our honeymoon; from cool hotels and delicious restaurants to fun activities that we did during our time in Asia.
Hope you can get some great ideas out of this, and please email me if you have any questions or you need more cool tips for your trip.

Here is a SHORT list of our favorite things! I will post more Asia tips in a couple of weeks.

No.1   JW Marriott Phuket, Thailand

We loved this place for many reasons. We spend five nights here because we couldn't leave this paradise. We literally changed our tickets just to stay one more night!. It is secluded from everything else and the cool part of the hotel is that you do not need to leave for anything. They have six restaurant and five bars, one better than the other. They have a private beach and three pools where elephants walk everyday to say hi to the guests.

Out of the blue Drink- This is where we spend most of the afternoon relaxing to Cafe del Mar music
We got a nice surprise.. wine and chocolates and a bed full of rose petals.
Love how the elephants are wondering around at the hotel pools.

No. 2  Ginja Cook ( Thai cooking classes)

Located next to the Ginja taste, the Thai restaurant at the JW Marriot (Phuket). The Thai cooking school kitchen was design by the award-winning Bensley Design Studios with inspiration of the southern architecture and the traditional style of a typical Thai Sala.
During our cooking class we spend most of the day learning about Thai cuisine, from going to a local market and picking up spices to cooking a delicious variety of food, including Pad Prik Thai On (Stir-fried beef with pepper), Som Tum (papaya salad) and Tom Ka Gai (Chicken coconut milk soup). It was so yummy and different from anything else we have ever done. Our marvelous chef Ton was so kind and friendly that she made the experience even more unforgettable. I'm so happy to tell you that, she now owns her own restaurant and teaches amazing Thai cooking classes. Her restaurant Kin Dee is one of the top restaurants in North Phuket.

No. 3  The Ritz-Carlton Beijing , China

We got a great impression of this hotel. The decoration is elegant with a contemporary feel and they did a great job including the Chinese heritage in the details. The room was so beautiful; every detail was design to perfection, from the inside of the closet to the accessories on the bathroom. The only negative thing is that we could not spend enough time enjoying this hotel because we were walking around all day in the amazing city of Beijing.

No. 4 Made in China, Beijing

This restaurant serves the best Peking duck in China, I’m serious! The way they cook it and serve it, is so mouth-watering!. You can enjoy a cooking show while you are waiting for your food to be served. The dining room is located in the middle of an open kitchen with wine racks serving as partition walls. At the entrance, you will find a tearoom and a dessert area with a tinny open kitchen where you can delight your eyes watching how they prepare the desserts. Do not forget to make a reservation if you want to try this astounding restaurant, its located inside the Hyatt and it is very popular.

The interiors are an old fusion twist of contemporary decor with authentic Chinese elements
