Marimoto Napa

In the last couple of years Napa has earn its spot in the world as one of the best food and wine destination. On our recent trip (see previous post) to the wine country we had the opportunity to enjoy a delightful variation of cuisines in amazing and cool restaurants. Since we had little time to enjoy everything Napa has to offer; I didn't want to pass the opportunity to post about a restaurant that blends culinary creativity and bold interior design.

From the chef Masaharu Morimoto, the star of Iron Chef, Marimoto Napa is located in downtown overlooking the river. The Tokyo- Califronia menu is innovative  and have a very creative presentation. For those who love sushi this is the place to go!
The Interior design by Thomas Schoos balances a number of distinct cultural influences, the local wine growing and natural landscape from Napa blended with the Japanese food and culture. The style is contemporary with a mixture of vibrant colors, bold fabrics and organic installations of old vines.
