Giraffe Manor

For those seeking a truly exotic, once-in-a-lifetime out of Africa-type experience, Giraffe Manor may just be that place. This charming and luxury boutique hotel 12 miles outside Nairobi, Kenya was set up by the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife as an effort to re-introduce the engendered Rothschild Giraffe into the wild.

The historical 1930's European building will take your breath away; but let's face it, the Manor's main attraction are the resident  herd of Rothschild giraffe who tend to visit the Manor in the mornings and evenings to greet guests and sniff out some snacks before venturing out into their sanctuary of 140 acres. Could you imagine of a better way to start your day than giraffes poking their heads through your window to share breakfast with you? I can't!
